【Abstract】 ST9818, the male sterility polyploid sugar beet hybrid, was bred by Xinjiang Shihezi Sugarbeet Institute Research. Base on the national new sugar beet variety tests and the regional demonstration experiments from 2001 to 2003, the ST9818 passed register because of its prominent root yield and broad adaptability. In regional trial for two years (total 13 sites), the mean root yield was 70716.8kg per ha and increased by 12.7%; the mean sugar content was 14.7% and lowered by 0.3°S; the mean sugar yield was 10158.0kg per ha and increased by 13.3% in comparison with the control variety.更多还原
