【Abstract】 Based on difference of transmit velocity of electromagnetic wave in diverse mediums,the Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR)has been applied to ascertain stratum structure.By means of GPR to detect embankment,the capacity has been improved consequently to monitor safety and embankment defects,such as piping,crack,cavity,loose foundation and moisture content changing etc.GPR is becoming an effective and convenient detection method.This article introduced the latest development of GPR.Some application cases were given and photographs were provided.更多还原
