【Abstract】 Teaching Chinese characters had a long and profound tradition in China.Nevertheless,the tradition has been challenged since the early times of the 20th century.And in the process of the teaching of Chinese characters lots of difficulties emerged.There are many reasons why we could not teach Chinese characters efficiently.It is sufficient to point out the deficiency of the theory of Chinese characters.In the 90’s of the 20th century a discipline about the structural system of Chinese characters has been established and the discipline would be helpful to the development of the teaching of Chinese characters.更多还原
