【Abstract】 Mei Yi-qi was deeply influenced by Western ideology. He carried out a liberal educational idea in his long time education practice although he intentionally weakened his political color. He promoted democratic management in Qinghua University and Xinan United University; he pursued patriotism ideals all his life, engaged in the practices of saving the nation through education"; he had prominent up-to-date views and actively innovative and creative; but at the same time he showed some weakness typical of the intellectuals of his time.更多还原
