【Abstract】 To lower the price of the STB(set-top box) and meet the customer’s individualized requirement, the digital TV operator always allows the multi-models STB to be used and sold in the local market. In order to predigest the headend maintenance and prevent the whole service crash from the error of SIG system, in this paper, we discuss the necessity of unifying the use of various kinds of PSI/SI table while searching for program for STB.
