MPEG4视频流量预测自适应算法的研究
Study of Adaptive Algorithm for MPEG4 Video Traffic Prediction
【摘要】 为了保证用户的服务质量(QOS),宽带分组网在传送视频信息时需要进行动态带宽分配,而视频流量预测在动态带宽分配中发挥着重要的作用。本文从自相关性、自相似性的Hurst参数两个方面,阐明GOP时间尺度上的流量能够体现原始帧序列的流量特性,并在固定步长的LMS自适应算法(FSSA)的基础上提出的一种新的可变步长自适应算法(VSSA),在GOP的大时间尺度上预测MPEG4视频流量,通过大量的仿真实验表明,VSSA算法可以明显地改善预测性能。
【Abstract】 Dynamic bandwidth allocation is needed to guarantee quality of service when video information is delivered by wideband packet networks, while video traffic prediction plays an important role in dynamic bandwidth allocation. In this paper, both autocorrelation and Hurst parameter of self-similarity are illustrated to show traffic character of original frame sequence can be represented by traffic on the time scale of GOP. Anew variable step size adaptive algorithm is also presented based on fix step size adaptive algorithm, which is used to predict MPEG4 video traffic on large time scale of GOP. And VS S A algorithm can improve performance of prediction significantly according to a number of simulations.
