【Abstract】 The Introduction of wavelength converters in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks can reduce call blocking probability and improve resource utilization. This paper studies wavelength converter placement problem in WDM networks with dynamic traffic demands. The blocking performance and time complexity of typical converter placement algorithms has been analyzed. Simulations have been conducted to compare the effectiveness of these algorithms.更多还原
