【Abstract】 The method by circle of stress is used for calculating the active earth pressure extended to cohesive soil with a slope angle on Rankine’s theory. The distribution of earth pressure strength acted on wall is nonlinear. The expressions of the value of earth pressure and the depth of point acted on the wall are put forward for different relative values between slope angle and friction angle of fill and result in graphs and simple formula.更多还原
