【Abstract】 Somatic embryogenesis and plant regeneration were studied from induced calli of flue-cured tobacco leaves. Factors that influencing on the somatic embryogenesis of flue-cured tobacco (cv. Yunyan?85) were also studied. The results showed that the maximum frequency of somatic embryogenesis was 61.1% for Yunyan?85; the only culture medium for somatic embryogenesis of Yunyan?85 was MS medium supplemented with NAA(2.0?mg/L),BA(0.5?mg/L) and 2.0% sucrose.
