【Abstract】 In the new century, the passing rate of mandarin of the southern normal college students gets higher. It has close connection with the emphasis of the mandarin publicity campaign and the educational reform in higher education. Seeing in the light of the level of the mandarin test of normal college, some changes has been taken place in the pronunciation among normal college students. It is very delightful, however, many inadequacies still lies ahead. This article not only shows the situation of the southern normal college students’ mandarin in the new century, but also gives some strategies aiming at increasing the passing rate of mandarin test among normal college students.更多还原
