【摘要】 利用基于MODIS数据的NDSI和基础地理信息数据对西藏地区进行雪情分析 ,结果表明这是可行的。MODIS数据在空间分辨率和波谱分辨率上优于AVHRR ,利用MODIS数据进行雪情分析和其他监测会更有利。本研究说明利用MODIS数据可以进行大面积雪情分析、雪灾监测

【Abstract】 It shows that analysis of snow conditions in Tibet region by NDSI based on MODIS data and fundamental spatial information data is feasible. The spatial and spectral resolution of MODIS data is better than that of AVHRR; it will be more advantageous using MODIS data to analyze snow conditions or for other monitorings. This research has indicated that MODIS data can be used to analyse snow conditions and to monitor snow disaster in a large area.
