遥感影像压缩质量评价方法
Evaluating Methods for Compression Quality of Remote Sensing Image
【摘要】 对重建图像进行质量评价是图像压缩的一个重要研究课题 ,评价方法的非客观性和非准确性可能误导图像压缩技术的进一步研究 ,本文针对解压缩后的遥感影像 ,分析了影像压缩对人类视觉和计算机视觉的影响 ,从构像质量和几何质量两方面初步探讨了压缩图像质量的客观评价方法 ,强调了遥感影像几何质量评价的重要性 ,并使用各种评价方法对数幅图像进行测试 ,不同的方法可能代表了图像质量的不同方面 ,得出的结果不尽相同 ,他们共同构成了对解压缩图像质量的综合描述。
【Abstract】 It is an important research area to evaluate the quality of the reconstructed image. The non-objective and non-exact evaluation methods may mislead the further research of image compression. This paper analyzes the effect of image compression on human vision and machine vision, discusses the methods of objectively assessing image quality according to radiation quality and geometry quality, emphasizes the importance of geometry in the evaluation of remote sensing image for reconstructed remote sensing image. Different evaluation methods, which may contribute to different aspects of the image quality, are used for several samples of remote sensing image data. The outcomes are not all the same, and they constitute the general description of the evaluation for the image quality.
