【Abstract】 Internet accessible and available gene transcriptional Databases and Database Integrated Systems (DIS) and their applications are reviewed.Databases and database integrated systems including specification,constitution and function related to gene transcriptional regulation,regulational region (3’and 5’ regulation region,intron and extron regulation region),regulational element (promoter,enhancer,silencer,etc.) and transcriptional factor binding sites are detailed introduced.Meanwhile this review concludes and introduces the websites,tools and methods required by access to these databases and systems and their information searching.These bioinformatics resources are very useful and helpful to bioinformatics research communities and researchers engaged in researches of bioinformatics,molecular biology,genetic engineering,functional genomics,biotechnology,metabolic engineering,pharmacology and drug design,and pathology.更多还原
