【Abstract】 Pre-object is a prominent special sentence pattern in ancient Chinese, which is quite different from modern Chinese. The phenomenon of pre-object in Mencius is complicated. The patterns are flexible. However, in different historical periods the course of development and change of various patterns is unbalanced. If the special word order is not discriminated clearly, it will affect our correct understanding of the meanings of articles in ancient book. So an analysis of the phenomenon of pre-object in Mencius can help us make clear the special characteristics of the grammar in the book and its change. And it also helps us to explain the rigorousness of the article structure and the demonstration in Mencius.更多还原
