【Abstract】 Single plant selection was made of 338 strains of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) and their 2008 single plants for higher oil content in 3 successive years. Highly significant improvement in oil content was achieved each year, with an average yearly increase by 2.4% for both the strains and the single plants. Differences in oil content improvement were observed in the genotypes studied. The feasibility of breeding for higher oil content of B. napus in Chongqing and the criteria for high oil content are discussed.更多还原
