大鼠下橄榄核毁损对前庭核神经元自发性放电活动的影响
Spontaneous activity of otolith neurons in the vestibular nucleus of rats after inferior olive lesion
【摘要】 目的:研究下橄榄核-小脑通路对成年大鼠中枢耳石器神经元自发性放电活动的影响。方法:用3-乙酰吡啶腹腔内注射破坏下橄榄核神经元,观察中枢耳石器神经元自发性放电活动的变化。结果:下橄榄核毁损后,规则型放电神经元的比例明显增加,C神经元呈现出规则的和不规则的两种放电类型,而I神经元全部表现为规则型放电。同时,与正常对照组相比,各类神经元的自发性放电频率均值明显增强,其间的差异均具有显著性意义(t=3.2871~11.7916,P<0.005~0.0001)。结论:下橄榄核毁损后,中枢耳石器神经元的自发性放电活动受到了明显影响。提示发出爬行纤维的下橄榄核通过对浦肯野细胞活动的影响,在中枢耳石器神经元的自发性放电活动方面发挥着重要的调控作用。
【Abstract】 AIM:To investigate the contribution of olivocerebellar inputs to the spontaneo us discharge properties of central otolith neurons in adult rats. METHODS:The inferior olivary nuclear neurons were destroyed by intraperitoneal administration of 3-acetylpyridine.The changes of spontaneous discharge proper ties of central otolith neurons were observed. RESULTS:After inferior olive lesion,the proportion of regular discharge neuron s was increased significantly,C neurons exhibited both regular and irregular dis charge patterns while Ⅰ neurons showed regular discharge patterns.Meanwhile,th e mean spontaneous discharge rates of all kinds of neurons were increased,signif icantly higher than those of control rats(t=3.287 1-11.791 6,P< 0.005-0.000 1) . CONCLUSION:The spontaneous discharge activities of central otolith neurons wer e affected significantly after inferior olive lesion.These findings indicate tha t the climbing fiber inputs from the inferior olive is of key importance in regu lating the spontaneous activities of central otolith neurons.
