【Abstract】 Several of the risk analysis methods used frequently on the existing risk assessment technique are analyzed and compared to distinguish their scientificity and limitation. On the basis of analyzing the merits and demerits to the traditional risk analysis methods, Risk Assessment Code Matrix method for risk analysis is introduced in the text, which is more adaptive to the petroleum environment and the locales of oil fields.
