司笃克氏棉(G.stockii)色素腺体的形态建成与棉酚动态研究

【摘要】 对司笃克氏棉幼胚发育过程和种子萌发过程中的色素腺体形态建成进行连续的切片观察和棉酚含量分析。结果表明 ,司笃克氏棉的种仁中含有肉眼可见的色素腺体 ,为典型的有色素腺体类型 ;然而种仁中的棉酚含量仅为0 0 0 5 8% ,为典型的低酚棉类型。司笃克氏棉种子成熟过程中的色素腺体形态建成有两种情况 :(1)色素腺体细胞直接形成的色素腺体 ,或经非常短暂的色素腺体原阶段后形成的色素腺体 ;(2 )色素腺体细胞先形成色素腺体原 ,然后细胞解体而形成的色素腺体。司笃克氏棉成熟种子中的色素腺体形态结构有别于其他棉种的色素腺体 ,光照对于色素腺体的形成无显著影响 ,而棉酚含量的动态与色素腺体形态建成有一定的关系。此外 ,还对司笃克氏棉的色素腺体和棉酚性状在低酚棉育种中的利用价值 ,以及司笃克氏棉在棉属系统发育中的地位进行了讨论。

【Abstract】 The anatomical structure of the pigment glands in the embryos or cotyledons during the seed maturity and germination, as well as the gossypol content of the kernels in G. stocksii were observed and analyzed. The results showed that there were many glands which could be seen by naked eyes in the kernels in G.stockii, and the seeds of G.stockii were typical glanded ones. However, the gossypol content in the kernels of G.stockii was very low (0.0058%), the cotton was a typical low gossypol type. There were two types of glands in the seeds and/or seedlings of G.stocksii: (1) the glands came from the gland cells directly or the gland primordiums in a very short period, and (2) the glands derived from the gland primordiums via the cell disaggregation in side of gland primodium. There were no significant effect of light on the formation of glands in G.stockii , and the gossypol content was related to the gland formation. The utilization of the special gland and gossypol characters on the breeding for low gossypol cotton, and the position of G.stockii in the phylogeny of Gossypium were discussed.
