【摘要】 对影响语言学习观念因素的研究是语言学习观念研究中的一个重要方面。 Ellis (1994 :4 79)指出 ,“学习观念还可能受到学习者个性 ,认知方式等因素的影响。然而 ,至今还没有这方面的研究来验证其相关性。”因此 ,本文试图通过对 4 15名非英语专业大学生进行认知方式测试和语言学习观念及个性的问卷调查 ,探讨这三者之间是否存在相关性。借助 SPSS11.0对调查结果进行分析后 ,本文得出以下结论 :大学生的语言学习观念基本不受认知方式和个性的影响更多还原

【Abstract】 A great many studies on learners’ beliefs about language learning have been carried out, among which study on the factors influencing learners’ beliefs about language learning is one of the most important. Ellis (1994:497) summarizes the relevant findings and then suggests a hypothesis that learners’ beliefs are also likely to be influenced by general factors such as personality and cognitive style. However, no studies have examined their relationship to date. In view of this hypothesis, the paper attempts to discuss the possibility of correlations between learners’ beliefs about language learning and their cognitive styles and personalities by means of quantitative research. The research is done through the test of 415 college students’ cognitive styles, the questionnaires of their beliefs about language learning and of their personalities, and a statistical analysis conducted by SPSS 11.0. The quantitative research results suggest that learners’ beliefs about language learning are hardly influenced by their cognitive styles and personalities.更多还原
