【Abstract】 After discussing Banke’s inglorious image with wild ambition and still a little sense, this paper emphatically analyses the inevitability of vicious inflation of Macbeth’s ambition by contrast between Macbeth and the times, society, Banke, King Duncan, Macdeph and Mrs. Macbeth; and believes that he degenerated from a high official with great contributions to his country into a hateful, freightening and malignant careerist.更多还原
