【Abstract】 The paper expresses an opinion different from the paper “A brief discussion on rust removed in restoration of ancient bronzes”published on 《China Cultural Relics News》 by Shao Anding on December 12, 2003. The rust layers on the face of bronzes should be reserved for studying as important samples containing much historical information. This paper also attempts to demonstrate some ideas and principles in restoration of cultural relics through literatures and examples of excavated cultural relics such as the rust layers on the face of bronzes.更多还原
