新型Pr基大块非晶及其特性研究
A new Pr-based bulk metallic glass and its properties
【摘要】 用铜模吸铸法获得了直径为 5mm的一种新的Pr基大块非晶 .与以往其他稀土 过渡金属 (RE TM)大块非晶不同的是 ,这种新的Pr基大块非晶具有明显的玻璃转变和稳定的过冷液相区 ,且其玻璃转变温度在目前已知的大块非晶中是最低的 ,Tg=4 0 9K .研究了该大块非晶的玻璃转变动力学 ,并给出了Kauzmann温度Tk、Vogel Fulcher温度T0g 及脆性参数m等重要参数
【Abstract】 A new rare-earth Pr-based bulk metallic glass (BMG) is obtained in the shape of rod up to 5 mm in diameter by die cast. Unlike other rare-earth based BMGs, it exhibits a distinct glass transition, T g=409K,the lowest glass transition temperature among the known BMGs, a large and stable supercooled liquid region and paramagnetic property. The glass transition as well as its kinetic nature and the fragility parameters m of the BMG have been studied. The BMG offers an ideal model to investigate the nature of glass transition as well as the relaxation and nucleation with a large experimentally accessible time and temperature window at very low temperature region.
