【Abstract】 Distributed data mining is a new rising subject in the domain of data mining. The main difficulty in this subject is the sharing of information and reuse of components and data. Taking advantage of the strong points of Web services such as platform independency, uniform data representation and reusable components and data, this paper introduces a distributed data mining architecture based on Web services, which is used to mine large-scale distributed data.
