【Abstract】 Two methods to start-up the upflow anaerobic sludge blanket bed (UASB) reactor were investigated. The results showed that the both methods were suitable for starting up a UASB reactor. By using the two methods, the start-up time of the reactor with mixed wastewater could be decreased by 23% compared with pharmaceutical wastewater directly. Which method would be applied, depends on the real situations.更多还原
