海泡石原矿的处理及其对乳胶涂料稳定性的影响

【摘要】 对海泡石原矿进行简单的提纯,并对提纯物进行了一系列高温处理,之后将处理过的样品添加到涂料体系中,评价所研制涂料的稳定性。结果表明,对提纯的海泡石原矿进行不同温度下的热处理,都可显著地提高其白度,降低其粒度,对提高涂料的稳定性有良好的效果。

【Abstract】 Sepiolite is a silicate mine with filiform appearance, which can form unique network structure in water and increase the thixotropy of the system tremendously, and improve the stability of emulsion coatings system. However, the color of Sepiolite is not as white as expected, which will dark the coatings system. Therefore the Sepiolite mine is purified first, and then treated at elevated temperature before incorporated into coatings formulation. The stability of the prepared coatings is evaluated. It has shown that heat treatment at different temperatures for the purified Sepiolite will greatly improve its whiteness and reduce particle size, leading to a good effect on stability of coatings. The Sepiolite treated at 900℃ shows the best result.
