【Abstract】 According to the basic theory of geophysics and characteristics of gravity field of the earth, the author probes into the source of lateral pressure of pit wall in foundation pit engineering. A new method to calculate the lateral pressure of pit wall in foundation pit engineering has been given. The lateral pressure of pit wall in foundation pit engineering is P=m（θ₂-θ₁） .更多还原
