【Abstract】 Using data from a sample survey “The well being of the elderly in Anhui province” conducted in 2001 in Chaohu city, Anhui province, this paper investigates the intergenerational support of the elderly, from the view of children and parents, respectively. The results indicate that the altruism/corporate group model describes the intergenerational support behavior in current rural families better, and the needs of parents are significant effects on the intergenerational support of the children.更多还原
