电子束辐照对超高分子量聚乙烯纤维结构与性能的影响
Effect of electron beam-irradiation on ultrahigh molecular weight structure and properties of polyethylene fibers
【摘要】 用电子加速器对超高分子量聚乙烯纤维进行辐照交联,探讨了不同剂量、剂量率辐照下结构与性能的变化.结果表明:凝胶含量随剂量率增大先增大而又减少,断裂强度随剂量增大而降低,尤其是在高剂量时下降得更为明显,而且随着剂量的增大纤维表面形貌被刻蚀得更为严重;当剂量为400kGy时,剂量率为8.5kGy/s时的刻蚀最为严重.
【Abstract】 Based on the electron beam-irradiation of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fibers, the changes of fiber structure and properties with different dose and dose rate are discussed. The results express that the gel content has extreme value with the change of the dose rate, at the same time, the tensile-strength declines with the growth of dose rate after the radiation treatment, expecially after high dose irradiation. The surface of UHMWPE fibers shows some irregular micro-pits and dems after radiation treatmem, namely rough degree increasing. Their number and deepness increase with increasing of dose. And this phenomenon is the most obvious when the dose rate is 8.5 kGy/s and the dose is 400 kGy.
