【Abstract】 As a new PC interconnection protocol,USB makes the connection between the peripherals and PC much more efficient and convenient.It is a developmental tendency of peripheral interface of computer,and will replace the RS232 step by step .Therefore, many traditional RS232 peripherals face the problem of converting to USB peripherals. Based on the experimental study, it was found that the most convenient and efficient way to develop the USB/RS232 converter is to use the FT232BM I. C. The working principle, block diagram, function and pin-out of the FT232BM are introduced in detail. And the typical design circuit of implementing USB/RS232 converter by use of FT232BM is given.更多还原
