【Abstract】 VBR video information will be come the major traffic in broadband IP networks. When usage of network resources and dynamic bandwidth allocation are considered, one important part is VBR video modeling and its traffic prediction. In this paper, both key problems in video modeling and several mathemathic methods used in traffic prediction are illustrated, which is based on analysis of characters of VBR video traffic.
