【Abstract】 Idioms can obviously reflect a nation’ s cultural features, for they are closely adherent to the cultural traditions. This paper is first to compare the different origins of English and Chinese idioms. Then it tries to explore the cultural differences reflected in the origins of idioms, more specifically, the different cultural backgrounds, national psychology, ways of thinking and outlook on life and marriage.更多还原
