A mesoporous catalyst, SBA-15-SO3H, containing sulfuric acid group wasprepared under strong acidic and hydrothermal condition. The XRD pattern showed that the said catalyst had well-ordered and regular hexagonal array structure. The IR indicated that its surface existed Bronsted acid sites, and the adsorption isotherm showed that it possessed larger pore diameter, pore volume and surface area.
