【Abstract】 An investigation is made to test the mental health of 4387 freshmen with Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS). Its result shows that the freshmen have higher scores than normal in three factors: obsession, photic anxiety and psychoticism. 333 freshmen are troubled by mental problems, accounting for 8% of the total, while 49 freshmen suffer from more serious mental problems, 1.18% of the total. There are sexual differences in the scores that they get in SCL-90. A high correlation is presented not only between depression scores in SCL-90 and standard scores in SDS, but also between anxiety scores in SCL-90 and standard scores in SAS.更多还原
