【Abstract】 Education is a field of emotions and personalities. Culture is continuously communicated, collided and created in this field. Traditional culture is definitely the very base of education, because it endows people some particular thinking patterns, values and teacher-student relationships which all have impacts on the individualizing process of hugher education. As for traditional cultures, an attitude of both discarding and accepting should be adopted so that the individualization of higher education can be promoted by the progressive essence of the traditional cultures.
