【Abstract】 Based on the traffic flow theory and the exploration on driver behavior, this paper analyzes the reasons behind congestion. Then it proposes real-time control strategies of variable speed limits (VSL), develops a control model and solution, and has an evaluation of the strategies. Finally, it gives some recommendations and discusses the research fields for VSL technologies in the future.更多还原
