【Abstract】 The current situation of network storage technology was analyzed. A new storage protocol-iSCSI and its advantages were introduced. iSCSI protocol is a very promising storage protocol because of its low cost and seamless combination with TCP/ IP stack. Furthermore, an iSCSI storage solution based on virtual iSCSI storage channel was raised. And the design and im-plementation of this solution was given out. After that, the test bed was introduced.
