【Abstract】 The karyotypes of Epinephelus coioides and Epinephelus akaara were examined from their renal tissues by PHA injection-air drying method. Both of the two species have a diploid chromosome number of 48, the karyotype formula of Epinephelus coioides is 2n=48,2sm +46t,NF=50; and Epinephelus akaara is 2n=48,5st+43t,NF=48. Both of the two species have the same diploid chromosome number, and their karyotypes are in accordance with the typical characters of the karyotype in the higher group of fish evolution taxonomy.更多还原
