【Abstract】 Developments of ozone theories and experiments are reviewed in this paper. These include theory of ozone mass transfer, theory of ozone dissolution, methods for obtaining high concentration dissolved ozone, stability of ozone water and its factors, reaction kinetics and mechanism of self-(decomposition) of ozone in water, decomposition mechanism of ozone in gas, mechanism and characte-ristics of ozone sterilization, and catalysts for ozone decomposition.
