【摘要】 林大津等撰文质疑钱冠连的目的—意图原则及其"合作不必是原则"观,担心钱的目的—意图原则观可能会导致"语用虚无主义"。对林文的担心及其对钱冠连的目的—意图原则的批驳,笔者认为其理由不充分,结论站不住脚,并论证指出:1 在语用学文献中出现的诸多"语用原则",无论是在定义上还是在其本质上都不是完全一致的;2 不同的学者依据自己的语用学理念对语用原则有自己的界定和理解;3 "语用原则"和语用学理论是一个局部与整体的关系,前者的提出依赖于后者,所以对前者的评判不能脱离它所从属的那个语用学思想或理论体系。更多还原

【Abstract】 Lin and Yu argue that Qian’s criticism of the Gricean Cooperative Principle is not justified, and conclude that his Goal-Intention Principle does not hold tenable, in the belief that this principle might lead to what they call "pragmatic nihilism". This paper, through analyzing Lin and Yu’s argument from a general perspective of pragmatic principles and their relation to a pragmatic theory, demonstrates that Lin and Yu’s criticism of Qian’s ideas is not adequately grounded. It also argues that the "pragmatic principles" proposed in different works on pragmatics are of different natures and that the criticism of a pragmatic principle should not ignore the pragmatic theory of which the principle is only a part.更多还原
