【Abstract】 Based on the literature about input /interaction and second language acquisition and functions of English, through an analysis of the effect of college English teacher talk on the language acquisition in a student-centred classroom, this paper points out that, as a special guide to the classroom activities, the teacher’s sound handling of the text and his or her proficiency in functions of English will promise a negotiating and encouraging context for successful language acquisition.更多还原
