【Abstract】 The characteristics and problems of land use in Aba prefecture of Sichuan province were studied, which is based on the regional nature characteristics and the resources utilization positions of this region. The countermeasures of land sustainable development proposed are as follows: stockbreeding can to be promoted based on the current grassland advantages. Tourism can to be developed based on the protection of nature resources. Woodland quality can to be advanced based on improving ecological environment. Agricultural production conditions is to be improved and the constructions of agricultural ecology bases can to be accelerated based on the protection of existing plow lands. The land resource preponderance can to be utilized fully to accelerate the constructions of traffic transportation and merchandise bases.
