改善钒催化剂机械强度的实验研究

【摘要】 整体式钒催化剂是一种新型的具有规则交错孔道的低阻力催化剂。但其内部孔道的存在要求催化剂材料本身具有较好的机械性能。通过对现有工业钒催化剂配方的筛选比较,选择机械强度较好的S105催化剂配方,即V2O57.0%~8.5%,K2SO417%~25%,Na2SO46%~10%,硫磺粉1%~2%,作为试验基础配方;研究了成型压力、含水量、pH值、捏合次数和陈化时间等工艺参数对催化剂机械强度的影响,并通过加入添加剂及优化条件试验,大大提高了以S105工业钒催化剂配方为基础的催化剂的机械性能,确定工艺参数为:成型压力15MPa,含水量30%,pH值为2~3;添加2%的石墨,5%的高温粘结剂和5%的10mm玻璃纤维;混捏次数为4次,陈化时间24h。制得的钒催化剂抗侧压强度>5MPa,抗拉强度>4MPa,比优化前催化剂材料机械强度提高了4~5倍,外观光滑。

【Abstract】 Structured vanadium catalyst is a new,low-pressure drop catalyst with regular array of intercrossed flow channels. The particular inner structure requires the basic catalyst material have high mechanic strength and good shaping properties. By screening from commercial catalyst recipes, the recipe of commercial S105 vanadium catalyst for SO2 conversion, which showed the highest mechanical strength, was selected to be the basic recipe. The composition is 7.0%~8.5% vanadium pentoxide, 17%~25% potassium sulfate, 6%~10% sodium sulfate and 1%~2% sulfur. Manufacture parameters, such as shaping pressure, moisture, pH value, kneading condition, age time, etc., were tested. Graphite, glass fiber and high temperature binder were also employed as additives to improve the mechanical strength of the catalyst material. The optimal manufacture condition is 15 MPa pressing pressure, 30% water content, 2~3 pH value, 2% graphite, 5% high temperature bonder, 5% glass fiber, kneading 4 times and aging 24 hours.The crushing strength of the material prepared is greater than 5 MPa and tensile strength is greater than 4 MPa, which is 4~5 times higher than that of the commercial S105 catalyst. The structured vanadium catalyst, prepared from the improved material, had a smooth surface and high mechanical strength.
