【Abstract】 Fetal growth retardation (FGR) is one of the major causes of perinatal morbidity and mortality. In addition, in the last decade, epidemiological study showed that FGR related to adult insulin resistance syndrome such as obesity, coronary heart disease, hypertension, impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), Type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus. This article reviewed epidemiological evidences of FGR, IGT in adults and Type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus, and introduced two hypotheses as well.更多还原
