【Abstract】 The south bridge of Runyang Bridge is a 1 490-m single span, double-articulated steel box girder suspension bridge. As designed, the rigid central bands are used to rigidly connect the main cables with the mid-span girder segment. By the aid of temporary clamps and temporary hangers, the problem of positioning and fixing the group bolts in the central bands in a state of floating is resolved. In this paper, the key techniques for installation of the central bands are described in details.更多还原
