【Abstract】 Flexner thought that the disordered curriculum of American colleges was contrary to the spirit of liberal education. He pointed out that professional education, school reform, the development of man required American college education to be a general education. Therefore, American colleges should reform in curriculum, administration, etc. Flexner’s idea of advocating general education is helpful to the healthy development of our undergraduate education.更多还原
