混合结构的集成化协同设计环境
An Integrated Collaborative Design Environment Using Composite Structure
【摘要】 分析了集中式和对等结构的同步协同三维建模系统的优点和缺陷 ,提出的混合式结构综合了两方面的优点。在此基础上 ,面向异地快速产品设计的需求 ,研究开发了集成化协同设计环境 (ICE ,IntegratedCollaborativeEnvironment) ,较好地解决了网络传输量、运算压力与协同的实时性要求之间的矛盾 ,并提供了统一的会议管理、同步控制、冲突管理和多媒体协同环境。
【Abstract】 There are some advantages and pitfalls in both centralized and peer-to-peer synchronous CAD collaboration system. This paper proposed a composite structure to mix up the advantages from both systems, and developed an integrated collaborative design environment (ICE) to fulfill the requirement from distributed Rapid Product Design (RPD). This solution provided a better balance between network traffic, computation load and the need of real-time synchronization. A centralized conference management and concurrency control mechanism were also provided. ICE can provide multimedia collaborative design environment too.
