【Abstract】 The necessity and the inevitability of the transformation from information service to knowledge service is discussed with a brief description of the revolutionary change of scientific and technical research environments,the push technology of information technology and the evolution of information resources.The trend of the advanced countries such as the United States and the European Union countries in constructing scientific research infrastructures for the 21 stcentury is detailed with an outline of their experiences that China should learn from.The basic modes and basic features underlying the knowledge service are presented with a brief discussion of the main goals and main framework of the infrastructure for knowledge service and the key technologies involved.更多还原
