【Abstract】 Embryo rescue techniques play important role in breeding seedless, triploid types as well as obtaining distanthybrids, shortening breeding cycle and improving breeding efficiency. The advances of embryo rescue technique and itsapplication in seedless grape breeding, as well as several factors affecting embryo rescue were summarized in this paper.
