【Abstract】 Standard test method for density of emulsified asphalt has been prescribed by ASTM D244 based on its characteristics. In ASTM D244, the density cup is a stainless steel measurer of known standard volume, but the shape and the dimension was not presented. It has been proved that the conical pycnometer made of glass is preferably and the volume of pycnometer must be determined. An expression was presented based on the definition of density. Measurements by using the pycnometer and according to the procedure in ASTM D244 are of well repeatability.更多还原
