【Abstract】 Port agriculture is the port flux economy providing the service for the production and management activities of importing/exporting agriculture.As the new pattern of service agriculture, the port agriculture has showed its charm. The development of shanghai port agriculture can benefit the local government(Shanghai), the n ation and the foreign countries. In the process of developing port agriculture, Shanghai has the outstanding advantages in its particular location, traffic and transportation, powerful suburb and the developed hinterland. Now the development of shanghai port agriculture can only give priority to the foundational development and make the foundational development drive the functional development.
